Welcome!

My name is Megan
I’m Megan. If you’re looking for me, you can usually find me walking (and walking and walking). Anyone who knows me well will tell you a story about that one time we went on a walk that got much longer than they expected. But seriously, the discipline of pilgrimage is central to the Christian life. Much of my life story is that of a pilgrimage: life with Christ on the road, learning to bloom in new and foreign places. Having lived significant portions of my life between Poland, Dallas, Boston, and Los Angeles, I often resonate with plants who suddenly find themselves in new gardens.
In fact, when you plant a seed in a garden, sometimes you’ll find a little marker set by the gardener to measure its growth; a way of seeing how much it has grown, and as a way of imagining how tall it has yet to grow. When pilgrims walk their way, they will set stone monuments called “cairns” along the path to mark where they’ve come from, and they follow the markers of the pilgrims who have come before them to mark out where they are going.
I am so glad you are here to walk a small part of the way with me.
